How to Delete Your Account - Voice Lock

This page explains how to delete your Voice Lock data and, if you have one, your Voice Lock account.
Your voice samples, backup PIN and settings are stored only on your phone. We never receive them, and nothing the microphone hears is recorded.
An account exists only in India, where you sign in with Google to subscribe.
Outside India: No Account
Outside India there is no Voice Lock account. To remove everything:
- In Voice Lock, open Settings and turn off the device administrator permission (or use Android Settings > Device admin apps). Android needs this before it can uninstall the App.
- Uninstall Voice Lock. This deletes your voice samples, PIN and settings from your phone.
To replace your voice samples without uninstalling, use Settings > Retrain in the App.
India: Delete Your Account
- Send an email to support@binaryscript.com from the Google email address you signed in with
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request - Voice Lock"
- We will delete your account and subscription record from our backend within 30 days
To remove the data on your phone as well, uninstall the App as described above.
What Is Deleted
From our backend (India)
- Your name, email address and Google account ID
- Your device ID and model, country and language
- Your subscription status
From your phone (when you uninstall)
- Your voice samples
- Your backup PIN
- Your settings
What May Be Kept
- Payment records that the law requires us to keep
- Analytics and crash data, which Firebase keeps according to its retention settings and which are not linked to your account
- Your settings in your own Android device backup, until you remove that backup
Cancel Your Subscription First
Deleting your account or uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Outside India: Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, then cancel Voice Lock
- India: cancel the AutoPay mandate in your UPI app (or PhonePe)
