How to Delete Your Account
App name: PhotoMeta
Developer: Binaryscript Private Limited
We're sorry to see you go. PhotoMeta works without an account, and your photos never leave your phone, so there is very little to delete. An account exists only if you signed in with Google to buy premium on Android in India. On iOS, and on Android outside India, there is no account: skip to Step 4.
Your photos are not affected
We never received your photos, so there is nothing of them on our side to delete. The clean copies the App saved are ordinary photos in your gallery, and they stay there until you delete them yourself. Your original photos were never changed.
Step 1: Cancel Your Subscription (If You Have One)
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription, and uninstalling does not either. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first to avoid future charges.
If you pay by PhonePe / UPI AutoPay (Android, India):
- Open the UPI app you approved the mandate in (for example PhonePe)
- Tap your profile icon
- Go to Autopay (Manage Subscriptions / Mandates)
- Find the PhotoMeta mandate
- Tap Cancel, Stop or Revoke
You can also email support@binaryscript.com to request cancellation.
If you pay through Google Play (Android, outside India):
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap the profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions
- Select PhotoMeta and tap Cancel subscription
If you pay through the App Store (iOS):
- Open your iPhone's Settings app
- Tap your name > Subscriptions
- Select PhotoMeta and tap Cancel Subscription
A one-time lifetime purchase is not a subscription — there is nothing to cancel, and it is not refunded. See our Refund Policy.
Step 2: Delete Your Account In the App (If You Signed In)
- Open PhotoMeta and make sure you are signed in
- Open Settings
- Tap Delete account
- Confirm when prompted
This signs you out and clears your session from the phone.
This step does not erase the account record held on our own servers. Complete Step 3 as well.
Step 3: Request Erasure of Your Server Account Record (If You Signed In)
Email us at: support@binaryscript.com
Subject: Account Deletion - PhotoMeta
Send it from the address you signed in with, or from any address quoting that email. Include:
- The email address of the Google account you signed in with
- Confirmation that you want your server account record erased
We verify the request and delete the record within 30 days, keeping only what tax and accounting law requires us to keep.
Step 4: Delete the App's Data From Your Phone
Clear the App's data in your phone's settings, or uninstall the App. This removes your settings, your free-clean count, your premium status, purchase identifiers and any session tokens permanently. Clean copies you saved stay in your gallery; delete them there if you no longer want them.
If you never signed in, this is all there is: we hold no account for you. To ask us to delete the anonymous analytics or crash data associated with your phone, email support@binaryscript.com.
What Gets Deleted
1. On your phone — removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall:
- App settings and your free-clean count
- Your premium status and the identifiers of purchases already processed
- Your sign-in session tokens
2. Your sign-in session — removed by Settings > Delete account:
- Your signed-in session on the phone
3. Our server account record — erased within 30 days of a verified email request:
- Your internal account identifier and Firebase UID
- Your name, email address, country, language and approximate location
- Any phone number stored with a payment
- Your subscription status and entitlement record
Data We May Retain
We may retain certain information after deletion, as described in our Privacy Policy:
- Payment and subscription records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires, limited to what those obligations need
- Aggregate and anonymised analytics that do not identify you
- Crash reports, retained by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days
- Records required to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes
Important Notes
- Cancel before you delete. A live UPI mandate, Play subscription or App Store subscription keeps billing even after your account is gone.
- Subscriptions are not refunded. Deleting your account does not qualify you for a refund — see our Refund Policy.
- Re-registering: you can sign in again with the same Google account, but your premium entitlement is carried over only if your purchase is still active and restorable.
- Your Google account is not affected. To revoke this app's access, visit Google Account > Third-party apps.
- Your photos: they were only ever on your phone, so there is nothing on our side to erase.
