How to Delete Your Data - Offline Cashbook

Offline Cashbook stores all your financial data locally on your device. There is no server-side account to delete. Your data is completely under your control.

Methods to Delete Your Data
Method 1: Uninstall the App

Steps:

  1. Long-press on the Offline Cashbook app icon on your device
  2. Select "Uninstall" or drag to "Uninstall"
  3. Confirm the uninstallation

Result: All your financial records, transactions, categories, and app settings will be permanently deleted from your device.

Method 2: Clear App Data (Android)

Steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Offline Cashbook
  2. Tap "Storage"
  3. Tap "Clear Data" or "Clear Storage"
  4. Confirm the action

Result: All app data will be deleted while keeping the app installed.

Method 3: Delete from App Settings (If Available)

Steps:

  1. Open Offline Cashbook
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Look for "Delete All Data" or "Reset App"
  4. Confirm the deletion
What Data Will Be Deleted
  • All financial transactions and records
  • Categories and tags
  • Budgets and financial goals
  • Reports and summaries
  • App preferences and settings
  • Any backup files stored within the app
Before Deleting
  • This action is irreversible
  • Export your data first if you need a backup
  • If you have an active subscription, cancel it through the app store first
Subscription Cancellation

If you have a premium subscription, uninstalling the app does NOT cancel your subscription. You must cancel it separately:

Android (Google Play):

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Tap Menu > Subscriptions
  3. Find Offline Cashbook and tap "Cancel subscription"

iOS (App Store):

  1. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
  2. Find Offline Cashbook
  3. Tap "Cancel Subscription"
No Server Data

Since Offline Cashbook operates entirely offline with local storage:

  • There is no account on our servers to delete
  • No personal data is transmitted to BinaryScript servers
  • Uninstalling the app removes all traces of your data
