How to Delete Your Account

Most people use Offline Khata without an account. An account exists only if you signed in with Google (or Apple on iOS) to buy a subscription through UPI AutoPay in India. Your data sits in two separate places, and each is deleted differently.
Before you start: back up anything you need to keep
Your khata, including your customers, suppliers, entries and bill photos, exists only on your phone. We hold no copy and cannot restore it. Create a backup file from the App before you uninstall it if you may want your khata back later.
Step 1: Cancel Your Subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, and uninstalling the App does not either. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first to avoid future charges.
If you pay by UPI AutoPay (India):
Cancel the Offline Khata mandate in the UPI app you approved it in. You can also email support@binaryscript.com to request cancellation.
If you pay through Google Play or the App Store:
Cancel it in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings.
Step 2: Request Account Deletion
- Email support@binaryscript.com from the email address of your account (the Google or Apple account you signed in with)
- Use the subject Delete my Offline Khata account
We will delete your account and the data we hold about it, and reply within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address and account identifier received from Google or Apple
- Your subscription status, country, App language and basic device information stored with your account
What may be kept
- Order and payment records we must keep for accounting and legal purposes
- Analytics and crash data, which contain no account details and are kept according to Firebase's retention settings
Step 3: Delete the Khata on Your Phone
Uninstalling the App, or clearing its data, deletes the khata on your phone permanently. You can also sign out at any time from Settings.
No account? Then we hold nothing about you to delete. Uninstall the App to remove your khata from your phone.
