Binaryscript Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our") operates the OpenMinion mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

By using OpenMinion, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• API Keys: You provide API keys for third-party AI services (such as Anthropic Claude or OpenAI). These keys are stored locally on your device in encrypted storage and are never transmitted to our servers.
• Telegram Bot Token: If you use the Telegram integration, your bot token is stored locally in encrypted storage on your device.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to collect limited anonymous usage data:

Firebase Analytics collects:

• Screen views and navigation patterns
• Feature usage events (e.g., task created, task completed, tool used)
• App open and session duration
• Device type, operating system version, and app version

Firebase Crashlytics collects:

• Crash reports and error logs
• Device state at the time of a crash (memory, battery, orientation)
• Stack traces for debugging purposes

This data is anonymous, does not include personal identifiers, and is used solely to improve app stability and user experience. Analytics and crash reporting are disabled in debug builds.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers.
• We do not collect your AI prompts, task content, or conversation history.
• We do not collect your contacts, calendar events, SMS messages, or any data accessed by the App on your behalf.
• We do not collect your API keys or transmit them to any server other than your chosen AI provider.
• We do not require account creation or login.

2. How Your Data Is Processed

OpenMinion processes data entirely on your device. The App functions as a local AI agent that interacts with your device features (SMS, calendar, contacts, web, files, screen) based on your instructions.

The only network communication occurs when:

• The App sends your task prompts to your chosen AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) using your own API key. This communication is governed by the respective provider's privacy policy.
• Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics transmit anonymous usage data to Google servers.
• The App performs web searches or fetches web page content at your request.
• The Telegram bot integration communicates with Telegram servers if you enable it.

We do not operate any backend servers. We do not act as an intermediary for your AI provider requests.

3. Data Storage and Security

• API keys and sensitive tokens are stored using Android EncryptedSharedPreferences with AES-256 encryption.
• Task history, schedules, and agent steps are stored in a local Room database on your device.
• App preferences are stored using Android DataStore on your device.
• No user data is stored on our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

OpenMinion integrates with the following third-party services. Their use is optional and initiated by you:

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party service you choose to use with OpenMinion.

5. Permissions

OpenMinion requests the following Android permissions. All permissions except Internet are optional and requested only when you use features that require them:

• Internet: Required for AI provider API calls and web features.
• Contacts: Read and add contacts when you use contact-related commands.
• Calendar: Read and create calendar events when you use calendar commands.
• SMS: Send and read SMS messages when you use messaging commands.
• Notifications: Display task results and service status notifications.
• Accessibility Service: Read and interact with on-screen content when you use screen commands. This service does not collect, store, or transmit screen data.
• Boot Completed: Reschedule automated tasks after device restart.

You can revoke any permission at any time through your device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

OpenMinion is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all user data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it:

• Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data, including API keys, task history, and preferences.
• You can clear app data at any time through your device settings.
• Firebase Analytics data is retained by Google according to their data retention policies and cannot be linked to individual users.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website. The "Effective Date" at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
