Privacy Policy for AutoDial Excel
Last Updated: October 28, 2026
AutoDial Excel ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by BinaryScript. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
Key Privacy Principle
Your calling data stays on YOUR device. We do not upload, access, or store your contacts, call outcomes, or Excel files on our servers.
1. Introduction
AutoDial Excel is a productivity app designed for telecallers to manage their calling lists efficiently. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide (Authentication Only)
When you sign in with Google, we collect:
- Email address
- Display name
This information is used solely for authentication and account management.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device ID: A unique identifier for session management
- Device Information: Model, OS version, app version
- Country and Language: Based on device settings
- Approximate Location: When the app starts, it looks up an approximate location from your network (IP) address: city, state, country and their approximate coordinates, using BigDataCloud's reverse-geocoding service. The app does not use GPS and does not ask for location permission. If you are signed in, this approximate location is stored once with your account on our server (api.binaryscript.com). It is not sold and not shared with advertisers.
- Analytics and Measurement Identifiers: If you are signed in, the app sends its Firebase app instance ID and its Meta (Facebook) anonymous ID to our server, which reports trial and payment events to Google Analytics / Google Ads and Meta. These reports contain no names, phone numbers or contact data.
- Installed UPI Apps (India only): On the India payment screen, the app checks which UPI apps on your phone support UPI AutoPay (Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay, BHIM, Amazon Pay), so it can offer them for the payment. It uses Razorpay's SDK for this check (see 5.8). Which of these five apps were found is also sent to Firebase Analytics, to measure the payment screen. No other installed apps are recorded by us.
2.3 Information Stored Locally on Your Device
100% Local Storage
The following data is stored ONLY on your device and is NEVER uploaded to our servers:
- Contacts imported from Excel/CSV files
- Phone numbers
- Call outcomes and notes
- Session history
- Custom outcome templates
- Excel/CSV files you import or export
2.4 Permissions Used on Your Device
- Call log (READ_CALL_LOG): we read your call log on your device to record call durations and outcomes, and to get the number of an incoming call. It never leaves your phone.
- Contacts (READ_CONTACTS): used on your device only, to show caller names. Your contacts are never uploaded.
- Notifications, for reply detection (optional): if you turn on WhatsApp / SMS reply detection, a notification listener reads incoming WhatsApp and SMS notifications on your device to mark a lead as "replied". Only messages from numbers already in your lists are used, and nothing is uploaded.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for:
- Authentication: To verify your identity and maintain your session
- Account Management: To provide access to your account across sessions
- Service Improvement: To understand app usage patterns and fix crashes
- Advertising Measurement: To measure which of our Google Ads and Meta campaigns lead to installs, trials and payments
- Customer Support: To respond to your inquiries
We DO NOT use your information for:
- Showing ads (the app shows no ads)
- Selling to third parties
- Building advertising profiles from your contacts, calls or messages
- Any purpose unrelated to app functionality
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Server-Side Data (Minimal)
- Authentication tokens (encrypted)
- Basic profile information (email, name)
- Device information, country and language
- Your approximate location (stored once, see 2.2)
- Your Firebase app instance ID and Meta anonymous ID, for advertising measurement
- Subscription status, and in India the PhonePe order and mandate status
4.2 Device-Side Data (Your Phone)
All your work data is stored locally on your device, in the app's private storage:
- Contact lists from imported files
- Call outcomes and notes
- Session templates
- App preferences
4.3 Security Measures
- All server communications use HTTPS encryption
- Authentication tokens are securely stored
- Local data is protected by Android's security sandbox
- No sensitive data is logged or transmitted
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 Google Sign-In
We use Google Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in:
- Google shares your basic profile (email, name) with us
- Google's Privacy Policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy
5.2 Firebase Authentication
We use Firebase for secure authentication:
- Firebase processes your sign-in credentials
- Firebase Privacy Policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
5.3 Other Firebase Services
We also use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, Cloud Messaging and App Check, for usage analytics, crash reports, performance, notifications and app integrity. Firebase Privacy Policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
5.4 Meta (Facebook) SDK
We use the Meta SDK to measure app installs and conversions from our Meta ads. Meta Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
5.5 BigDataCloud
BigDataCloud's reverse-geocoding service turns your network (IP) address into the approximate location described in 2.2; it sees your IP address for that request. BigDataCloud Privacy Policy: https://www.bigdatacloud.com/privacy-and-cookie-policy
5.6 Google Play Billing
Subscription payments outside India are processed by Google Play:
- We do not store your payment information
- Google handles all payment processing
- Google Play Terms of Service apply
5.7 PhonePe (India)
In India, subscriptions are paid through PhonePe UPI AutoPay, handled by PhonePe and our server (api.binaryscript.com). We don't see or store your card, bank or UPI PIN details. PhonePe Privacy Policy: https://www.phonepe.com/privacy-policy/
5.8 Razorpay (India)
We use Razorpay's SDK only to find out which UPI apps on your phone support UPI AutoPay. Payments do not go through Razorpay: they are made through PhonePe (see 5.7). To answer, the SDK reads which UPI apps are installed on your phone and may share this with Razorpay. Razorpay Privacy Policy: https://razorpay.com/privacy/
6. Subscriptions and Payments
6.1 Subscription Model
AutoDial Excel offers recurring subscription plans. Outside India (and for India users who bought on Google Play before the switch to PhonePe) they are managed through Google Play. In India, new subscriptions are paid through PhonePe UPI AutoPay: a recurring UPI mandate set up in your UPI app or by QR code, with a ₹2 trial charge and then the monthly price.
6.2 Payment Processing
- Google Play payments are processed by Google Play; India UPI AutoPay payments by PhonePe, through our server
- We do not collect or store card, bank or UPI PIN details
- Google Play subscriptions are managed (cancelled, renewed) in Google Play; a PhonePe UPI AutoPay mandate is cancelled from your UPI app (pause or revoke the mandate) or from the app
6.3 Refunds
Google Play purchases follow Google Play's refund policy. For India UPI AutoPay payments, cancelling the mandate stops future charges; a charged period is not refunded, but duplicate or wrong charges are refunded on request to support@binaryscript.com. See our Refund Policy.
