Binaryscript Private Limited ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Restaurant POS mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

By using Restaurant POS, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide

When you use Restaurant POS, you create and store information locally on your device, including:

  • Restaurant business information (name, address, contact details)
  • Menu items and categories
  • Customer information (names, phone numbers, addresses)
  • Orders and transaction records
  • Table and seating arrangements
  • Sales and financial data

IMPORTANT: All this data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database with AES-256 encryption. We do NOT collect, access, or store this information on our servers.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect:

  • Device information (device model, operating system version)
  • App usage statistics (features used, session duration)
  • Crash reports and error logs
  • Performance metrics
  • Anonymous usage patterns

This information is collected anonymously and cannot be used to personally identify you.

We do NOT collect:

  • Your restaurant's financial data
  • Customer personal information
  • Transaction details
  • Menu content or pricing
  • Any data you create within the App
2. How We Use Your Information

We use the automatically collected information for:

  • Improving app performance and stability
  • Fixing bugs and crashes
  • Understanding how features are used
  • Developing new features based on usage patterns
  • Analytics and statistics (aggregated and anonymous)

We do NOT use your information for:

  • Selling or sharing with third parties for marketing

  • Profiling or tracking across other apps/websites
3. Data Storage and Security
3.1 Local Storage

All your business data (menus, orders, customers, etc.) is stored locally on your device using:

  • Encrypted SQLite database
  • AES-256 encryption for sensitive data
  • Device-level security protections

We have no access to this locally stored data.

3.2 Cloud Backup (Optional)

If you enable cloud backup:

  • Android: Data is backed up to your personal Google Drive
  • iOS: Data is backed up to your personal iCloud

Backup data is:

  • Encrypted with AES-256 encryption
  • Stored in YOUR personal cloud storage (not our servers)
  • Only accessible by you with your cloud account credentials

We do NOT have access to your cloud backups.

You are responsible for regularly backing up your data. We recommend enabling cloud backup and maintaining device security with passwords/biometric locks.

3.3 Firebase Services

Analytics and crash data is transmitted to Firebase (Google) and stored on their servers according to Firebase's privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties.

We may share anonymous analytics data with:

  • Firebase Analytics (Google) - for app analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics (Google) - for crash reporting

  • You can delete your data by uninstalling the App
  • You can delete cloud backups from your Google Drive/iCloud
  • Analytics data is automatically deleted according to Firebase retention policies
6.3 Portability
  • Export your data as PDF or CSV reports
  • Backup data is stored in standard encrypted format
6.4 Opt-Out
  • You cannot opt-out of Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics while using the App
  • To stop data collection, uninstall the App
7. Data Retention
  • Local data: Stored indefinitely on your device until you delete it
  • Cloud backups: Stored in your Google Drive/iCloud until you delete them
  • Analytics data: Retained by Firebase for 14 months (automatic deletion)
  • Crash data: Retained by Firebase for 90 days (automatic deletion)
8. Children's Privacy

Restaurant POS is a business application intended for commercial use. While there are no age restrictions, the App is not designed for or marketed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through our App, please contact us at [email protected].

9. International Users

Restaurant POS is available worldwide. By using the App:

  • Your local data stays on your device
  • Analytics data may be transferred to Firebase servers (Google) located globally
  • Cloud backups are stored in your Google Drive/iCloud (location depends on your account settings)

Restaurant POS supports 30+ languages worldwide, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and more.
