Refund Policy for App Store Purchases
PayAlert offers subscription plans ("payalert_monthly_plan" and "payalert_annual_plan") that are processed and managed through the Google Play Store. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions for requesting refunds for these purchases.
Google Play Store Refunds
For purchases made through the Google Play Store, refund requests are handled directly by Google, not by Binary Script. According to Google's policy:
- For eligible in-app purchases, you can request a refund within 48 hours of purchase.
- To request a refund, visit Google Play Order History, select the purchase, and click "Request a refund".
- For subscription purchases, you may cancel at any time, but the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- No refunds are provided for the current subscription period after the initial 48-hour window.
- Google makes all decisions regarding refunds for Google Play purchases.
Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel a subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner
- Tap "Payments & subscriptions"
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Find the PayAlert subscription and tap it
- Tap "Cancel subscription" and follow the instructions
Cancelling a subscription will stop automatic renewal, but you will still have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Special Circumstances
If you encounter technical issues with the PayAlert app that prevent you from using the premium features you've purchased, please contact us at [email protected] before requesting a refund through Google Play. We will attempt to resolve any technical issues promptly.
In exceptional cases where the app fails to deliver the core functionality as described and we are unable to resolve the issue, you may request assistance for a refund beyond the standard Google Play refund window. In such cases:

- Include your order number and the email associated with your Google Play account
- Describe the specific functionality that is not working as expected
- We will review your request and may provide guidance for seeking a refund through Google support
Please note that we cannot directly process refunds for Google Play purchases, but we can assist in documenting valid technical issues to support your refund request with Google.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Subscriptions that have been active for more than 48 hours (except in cases of significant technical failure)
- Subscriptions that have been used extensively during the billing period
- Subscriptions canceled after the renewal date
