Refund Policy Overview
MY QR offers premium subscription plans that are processed and managed through the Google Play Store. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions for requesting refunds for these purchases.
BinaryScript Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to customer satisfaction and will work with you to resolve any issues related to your purchase.
Google Play Store Refunds
For purchases made through the Google Play Store, refund requests are handled directly by Google, not by BinaryScript Private Limited. According to Google's policy:
- For eligible in-app purchases and new subscriptions, you can request a refund within 48 hours of purchase
- To request a refund, visit Google Play Order History, select your MY QR purchase, and click "Request a refund"
- For subscription purchases, you may cancel at any time, but the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- No refunds are provided for the current subscription period after the initial 48-hour window, except in special circumstances (see below)
- Google makes all final decisions regarding refunds for Google Play purchases
Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your MY QR premium subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner
- Tap "Payments & subscriptions"
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Find the MY QR subscription and tap it
- Tap "Cancel subscription" and follow the on-screen instructions
Important notes about subscription cancellations:
- Canceling a subscription will stop automatic renewal
- You will still have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
- No prorated refunds are provided for partial billing periods
- You can resubscribe at any time after cancellation
Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- The purchase was made within the last 48 hours
- Technical issues prevent you from accessing premium features despite troubleshooting attempts
- The app fails to deliver core functionality as described in the app listing
- Duplicate or unauthorized charges occurred
- Billing errors or incorrect subscription charges
Special Circumstances and Technical Issues
If you encounter technical issues with MY QR that prevent you from using the premium features you've purchased, please contact us at [email protected] before requesting a refund through Google Play.
We will make every effort to:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly
- Provide troubleshooting assistance and support
- Offer alternative solutions or workarounds
- Update the app to fix bugs affecting premium features
In exceptional cases where the app fails to deliver the core functionality as described and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may request assistance for a refund beyond the standard Google Play refund window. In such cases:
- Contact us at [email protected] with detailed information about the issue
- Include your Google Play order number or transaction ID
- Provide the email address associated with your Google Play account
- Describe the specific functionality that is not working as expected
- Include any error messages, screenshots, or steps to reproduce the issue
- Allow us reasonable time to attempt to resolve the issue (typically 7-14 business days)
Please note that we cannot directly process refunds for Google Play purchases, but we can assist in documenting valid technical issues to support your refund request with Google Play support.
Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Subscriptions that have been active for more than 48 hours without technical issues
- Subscriptions that have been used to generate, save, or download QR codes during the billing period
- Subscriptions canceled after the renewal date has passed
- Refund requests based on personal preference or change of mind after the 48-hour window
- Subscriptions where the user was able to successfully use premium features
- Charges incurred due to failure to cancel before the renewal date
Refund Processing Timeline
For approved refunds:
- Google Play typically processes refunds within 48 hours of approval
- It may take 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment method
- Credit card refunds may take one or two billing cycles to appear on your statement
Fraudulent Purchases and Chargebacks
If you believe a purchase was made without your authorization:
- Contact Google Play support immediately to report unauthorized charges
- Secure your Google account by changing your password
- Enable two-factor authentication on your Google account
Please note that initiating a chargeback without first contacting Google Play or us may result in suspension of your account and loss of access to premium features.
Fair Usage Policy
We reserve the right to:
- Deny refund assistance for repeated refund requests
- Investigate suspicious refund patterns that may indicate abuse
- Suspend or terminate accounts engaged in refund fraud
- Limit future purchases for users with excessive refund requests
Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the updated policy on this page
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Sending an in-app notification for significant changes
