How to Delete Your Game Booster Account

We value your privacy and make it easy to delete your account and data. This page explains the different methods available to delete your information.

⚠ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please make sure you want to proceed before deleting your account.

Method 1: Delete Account Within the App (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the Game Booster app:

Step 1: Open the Game Booster app on your device

Step 2: Navigate to Settings (tap the gear icon)

Step 3: Scroll down to the Account section

Step 4: Tap on Delete Account

Step 5: Confirm your decision when prompted

Step 6: Your account will be immediately deleted from our servers

Method 2: Request Account Deletion via Email

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email:

Send an email to [email protected]
Use the subject line: "Game Booster - Account Deletion Request"
Include the following information in your email:
- Your registered email address (the one used to sign in with Google)
- Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
- Device information (optional, to help us locate your account)
We will process your request within 72 hours (business days)
You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you delete your account, the following data will be removed:

Immediately Deleted (Within 24 hours):

User Profile: Your Google account information (email, display name, profile photo)
User ID: Your Firebase authentication user ID
Preferences: Any synced settings or preferences stored in the cloud
User-Specific Analytics: Any analytics data linked to your user ID

Retained (Anonymous Data):

Aggregated Analytics: Anonymized usage statistics (not linked to you personally)
Crash Reports: Anonymous crash logs (automatically deleted after 90 days)

Local Device Data:

Not Automatically Deleted: Data stored locally on your device remains until you uninstall the app
To Remove Local Data: Uninstall the Game Booster app from your device
Manual Clear: Go to Settings > Clear App Data before deletion (optional)

Crash Reports (Anonymous)	Up to 90 days
Aggregated Analytics (Anonymous)	14 months (Firebase default policy)
Local Device Data	Until app uninstall

Important Notes

No Account Required: You can use Game Booster without creating an account. In this case, no account data is stored on our servers.
Local Data: Game Booster processes most data locally on your device. This data is not affected by account deletion and will remain until you uninstall the app.
Permanent Action: Account deletion is irreversible. You cannot recover your account or data after deletion.
Reactivation: If you sign in again with Google after deleting your account, a new account will be created.
Legal Obligations: We may retain certain information if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal proceedings).

What Happens After Deletion?

App Continues to Work: You can continue using Game Booster's core features without an account
No Cloud Sync: Your preferences will no longer sync across devices
Anonymous Usage: The app will function normally, but analytics will be completely anonymous
Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation once deletion is complete (if email provided)
